Registration is open for the Midwest Medical Student Symposium

Are you a medical student considering emergency medicine (EM) or preparing to match to an EM residency? Then this is the event for you!

The Midwest Medical Student Symposium is a great way to learn more. This one-day regional event is set for April 22, 2023, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Toledo/Perrysburg, OH. The symposium is designed to help medical students choose a good fit for residency while enhancing opportunities to stand out from the competition.

Planning is underway and sessions will include:

  • How to Shine During Rotations
  • What Type of Residency is Right for Me?
  • How to Create a CV and Personal Statement
  • Rocking the Interview
  • A Residency Program Directors Discussion Panel

The event also features a residency fair to give students the opportunity to meet one-on-one residency directors and faculty members from Midwest EM residency programs.

For more details, to register, and to make a hotel reservation, visit the Ohio ACEP website. The $25 registration fee includes lunch and the residency fair. The registration deadline is April 12, 2023.
